My Journal

From Ekiru (aka Eddie)
Ejoka? (Traditional greeting in Turkana)
This is my first attempt to have a website and I hope it is informative and a blessing to you. There is so much that goes on in Turkana, Kenya, I leave out most things in an effort to be short and yet effective in my reporting. This space will allow me the chance to share what is happening beyond my newsletters and give you a chance to post your thoughts as well. So please visit often and let me know what you think so far...I know there are still some rough edges.
For Christ in Kenya,
Eddie Ekiru

The trip to Turkana was life-changing! I had some of the most fun of my entire life on this trip as we viewed the multitudes hungry for the gospel.
This missionary and this ministry is worthy of support, and I am proud to be the sending pastor of this fine missionary.
Grace & Peace,
Butch Roshto
New Hope Baptist Church
Tuscaloosa, AL

Where to start about Brother Eddie, I met Eddie on the Mac-Med trip to Kenya in Feb. of this year. Some people in life you seem to connect with and Eddie was one of these people. You can really tell that Eddie is where the Lord wants him to be, he is trully in his element in Kenya. The trip to Kenya was a life changing event for me, my niece Ashley had been before and talked about it to me alot, but you have no idea what an eye opening experience and blessing it is until you visit yourself. I love and appreciate the work that Brother Eddie and Brother Ernie are doing in this great country of Kenya, may God contunue to bless this work and my souls be saved.

Chat Hester
Lancaster, Kentucky

I met Bro. Eddie earlier this summer when he came to speak at our church. We were greatly blessed by his visit and we continue to speak about and pray about the work. The Turkana people are blessed to have him and I believe also that he where the Lord wants him and he is excited to be there.

In Christ
Leea Browning
